Its great variety of accommodations suits families of all sizes, from two-bed oceanview rooms, to cottages for up to six and even a three-bedroom penthouse. The kids, however, will be spending most of their time outside, where the beach is right there with a playground on it, and the pool and pool games are the center of attention around the restaurant and shop area.
One of the most progressive kids’ programs in the islands, the Bahamas Buddies Programs introduces young guests to native children, who teach them about local customs and food. With its own marina, the resort offers families kayaks, paddleboards, boat rentals and tours and dive shop services. It earns final high marks from its walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Marsh Harbour.

I stopped in here for lunch before I could get on board my sailboat. I had flown in on a red eye from the west coast so needless to say I was jet lagged and needed a place to relax.
I returned again on my last day, before my flight out, and hung out at the restaurant and on the beach.

We visited this resort in February. We had to find a hotel at the last minute due to boat problems. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The grounds were very pretty with a calm swimable beach. The restaurant was a little pricey but that is the Abacos! We had a direct water view from our room. There were restaurants near by that were in walking distance.
