Overview

At the centrally located Abaco Beach Resort, guests will find lots of onsite amenities for both children and adults, as well as easy access to the sights of the Out Islands of the Bahamas. There are a variety of room types to choose from, including traditional hotel rooms, cottages and multi-room apartment-style units ideal for longer stays. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed with cable television, wet bars, mini fridges, coffeemakers and safes. Many have ocean or marina views and private balconies/patios. Families should consider a one-bedroom suite, which is located in a quieter area of the resort and has a full kitchen, sofa bed and breakfast bar.

The resort offers many activities and amenities on the premises, including a private beach, two pools, non-motorized watersports including kayaking and paddleboarding, tennis courts, beach volleyball and a playground. There’s also a dedicated kids’ club that features activities with local children, such as fishing, cooking, boating and biking.

Reviews

good location

I stopped in here for lunch before I could get on board my sailboat. I had flown in on a red eye from the west coast so needless to say I was jet lagged and needed a place to relax.
I returned again on my last day, before my flight out, and hung out at the restaurant and on the beach.

Friendly staff

We visited this resort in February. We had to find a hotel at the last minute due to boat problems. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The grounds were very pretty with a calm swimable beach. The restaurant was a little pricey but that is the Abacos! We had a direct water view from our room. There were restaurants near by that were in walking distance.
