We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. Lots of large counter space to set things. Room was very clean and always well cleaned. McDonalds next door works well for quick, low cost breakfast. You can also grab fruit, snacks, drinks from the Cove on the other side of the hotel at the Tropicana. Pool isn’t the greatest, quite small and very salty water! Some nice umbrellas and simple furniture would make a huge difference. All in all though decent value for the area
Being able to skip on renting a vehicle and simply walk to Disneyland saved us hundreds of dollars. The staff were friendly and room comfortable. Hotel rooms were clean and a great place for us to relax and rest. Did not spend too much time at the property but it served its purpose. Close enough to hear, and see, the park fireworks - keep that in mind if you are trying to put little ones to sleep. Motel-type entry and windows do open to the main walkway.
