Reviews

Awesome villas, good location and excellent value for money.

by Jsf84

A great stay at the aria exclusive villas.

These villas are exceptional value for money. Extremely spacious, tidy and clean, relatively well equipped and the location is good.

If you are going to book this hotel then book it direct. This must be the only hotel in Bali that passes on the savings if you book direct. Versus booking from booking.com, Agoda etc.
We got a better deal direct and they included free transfers.

Every member of staff is lovely, very friendly and are helpful. We would get a phone call in the morning just before they stopped serving breakfast to check if we wanted breakfast, this was a nice touch.

Location:
We liked the location as it’s a little out of the way from main square (5 minute / 50p taxi) but it’s quiet and peaceful.

Also it’s only a 5 minute walk to the beach where you have access to beach bars and restaurants. Don’t be put off by the little alley way, it’s fine and safe. Also you can walk to the W hotel, potato Head beach club in 5 minutes. You are also near a cool roof top bar called Above, at the four points hotel. Also a 2 minute walk down the road past the Four Points you have two small convenience stores which are well stocked and very cheap. The second one from the hotel (circle K) is the bigger of the two.

The villa is huge, with a great size pool, sun loungers, day bed, table and chairs and a little kitchenette.

The semi out door bathroom is amazing. Hot powerful shower outside and lovely big bath inside.

In the villa you also have fridge and mini bar which has beers and soft drinks all reasonably priced.

In the room you have a huge bed with a mosquito net around (which has seen better days) which we found comfortable. Tv with movie, news and music channels in English. A sofa which I assume is a sofa bed but I am not sure you would want to sit on it let alone sleep on it, it urgently needs cleaning or replacing.

Other nice touches are several anti mosquito plug ins and burning candle things for outside and the bathroom. These are set up during the turn down service in the evening.
Also they include a travel adaptor which is a nice touch.

Breakfast:
This was included and was ok. Not amazing but again good value for money. A great offering, quality wasn’t the best but again for value for money you can’t complain. You can pay to have the floating breakfast in your pool which is a must in Bali once during your stay.

Areas that prevent it from being a 5 star:
The WiFi is ok, but needs to you constantly log in all day long which is just annoying. Every time you close your phone it will disconnect the signal and require a log in.
We needed an iron one day and were told we would have to wait to tomorrow as they only 4 across nearly 20 villas they have!
The towels also need replacing ASAP. Old tired and always dirty looking. Far from a luxury towel, very thin.

However in all a great stay and in a great villa which offered fantastic value for money in a location that worked well for us.
Book it!

The welcome could of been warmer. We arrived late in the night after an 18 hour drive. No drink or hot or cold towel. The security guard showed us to the room but didn’t know enough about it to answer any questions. He did open the fridge and get out two welcome drinks for us and some fruit which was nice.
Security, some of the external doors in the villa can be pushed open despite being locked.

My one ask is that they instal a curtain between the room and the bathroom. The sun rises early here and you have beaming sunlight coming into the villa from 6am which you can’t do anything about.

Overall a great stay, a good location and excellent value for money. I would recommend without hesitation.

Thank you Aria Villas!

Very Nice staff but terrible wifi and breakfast not great

by rymou55

The staff is lovely. The hotel is good maybe getting outdated. Terrible wifi. Location is calm 10mn from center area. Breakfast is not great. Not lots of options and lacking allergies options. But clean hotel and very nice staff.
