Overview

This is a European-style, contemporary hotel on the northeastern end of the island, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and a short five minutes from the beach. The resort has 35 guestrooms and suites in four different categories. All rooms come standard with air conditioning and have private baths with Jacuzzi/ tubs, safety deposit boxes, alarm clock radio, cable TV, hair dryer, luxurious bathroom toiletries, iron and ironing boards and daily housekeeping.

Onsite there is a pool, restaurant, bar, spa, and sidewalks between spaces draped with gorgeous landscaping. This is a family-owned resort and the sense of pride in ownership is demonstrated by upkeep and investment. However, most guests always note the views of the Atlantic as their favorite part of this costal retreat.

Lovely view

by Desta M

Due to a reschedule of a work trip to the island, I was booked for a night at Atlantique View. The view was to die for. The staff welcome was wonderful, however, the room and no telephone service or internet when I got to it. Luckily, the staff member on duty had to return to the room, and I expressed my concerns and the internet service was expeditiously restored.

The room was modern and airy. And I got a great night's sleep. Upon waking in the morning I took the opportunity to enjoy an absolutely breath taking view before taking a leisurely stroll down to the restaurant and had an ok breakfast.

Another plus was that the drive to the airport was a comfortable 30minutes.

Cricket Stop over

by Christopher W

We stayed here for a night stop over during the England Cricket Test series, rather than spending 6 hours waiting in the airport. The hotel is lovely, with stunning views that you could look at all day long. There is a lovely 3 tier swimming pool which was lovely and refreshing and ideal for relaxing. Having not known the area, the hotel really is in the middle of nowhere and there is literally nothing around to do / venture out to sadly. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable with all modern amenities, with views to die for. My other reason for booking this hotel was the 'spa' part and I was disappointed when I arrived to find that there was no spa / gym etc. It was however, most humbling to stay in an area that was devastated by the Hurricane a few years ago and an eye opener speaking with a lot of the locals. This hotel really has a lot of potential and I hope that the new owners really can deliver because this place really could be superb, it has all the necessary facilities. All in all I would happily stay here again if ever in Dominica.
