At the tide pools, everyone can get there hands wet while feeling what sea cucumbers, lobsters, hermit crabs and other sea life feel like.

The Birch Aquarium also works with Flagship Cruises to offer families educational whale watching excursions. Daily cruises are offered, with rates starting from $39 per adult and $19 per child.

Admission to the Birch Aquarium is $17 for adults, $14 for teens ages 13 to 17, $12.50 for kids ages 3 to 12, $13 for seniors and free for children ages 2 and under.
