Miniature World has been welcoming visitors to its tiny land for decades, and while it is not a high tech museum with much interactive functions for kids, it is a place that the local kids love to enjoy over and over again. Families entering Miniature World will walk through a variety of displays, all small, with tons of detail. There are more than 85 mini displays of war scenes, amusement park scenes, fantastically detailed dollhouses, model trains, nursery rhythms and much, much more. Families could spend about an hour here.

Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily

Things to Know/Bring: Kids will love the little stools for better viewing and buttons to make trains and other exhibits move.

Parking:Street parking surrounds the area.
