Steamboat Natchez

Attraction

Steamboat Natchez

Toulouse St., New Orleans, 70130, LA

It’s impossible to miss the steamboat rolling down the river — its louder-than-any-screaming-baby whistle alerts anyone within a stone’s throw from the Mississippi of its arrival.

Kids can get a glimpse into life on the Mississippi River as depicted in their classic Mark Twain tales aboard this three-level steamship — the only authentic steamboat in New Orleans — that cruises up and down the Mississippi each afternoon for two hours. Or you can enjoy a dinner cruise, complete with a buffet and live jazz music. Two seating times (6 and 7:45 p.m.) are available.

Bring a heavy sweater or jacket for your cruise, as it gets pretty chilly out on the water. Also be prepared to have your photo taken before the sailing; you’ll have an opportunity to purchase the photo on board.

Rates
Cruises are $67 for adults, $27 for children 6 to 12, and free for children under 6. Evening cruises with dinner (optional) are $106 for adults and $42.50 for children 6 to 12; they’re free for children under 6, but an extra charge applies for dinner.
