We were driving around the island and experiencing some thunderous weather. Looking for a break from driving in the rain we visited this hotel. Very welcoming staff, great service, lovely atmosphere with fantastic DJ in the lounge area giving a warm and positive vibe to the hotel. Despite the weather we had a great visit and felt recharged ready to continue our tour.

Amazing holiday resort!

We have just returned from an 11 day stay at AVANI Seychelles Barbarons Resort & Spa.

Our intention was to get away from the hustle and bustle of normal life in a big city - London, UK and this resort met this goal perfectly.
The resort is on the west side of the island, which is quiet compared to Victoria, but that's what we wanted, and in Mahé you can't really consider anything far.

All the staff were friendly, very accommodating and were determined that our visit to the Seychelles would be an amazing experience. Many thanks to Maria from the Element restaurant. An amazing person with a beautiful character and personality. The restaurant supervisor and the whole team made our stay unforgettable.

The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We personally occupied room 125. I think there is no better place than its location. The facilities at the resort are also excellent, especially the large (and deep) pool for those who do not like the beach, which is literally at your fingertips.

The food was amazing, and the combination of both restaurants covers a wide range of cuisines, and some evenings are dedicated to specific cultural events from around the world. Beef steak and tuna steak are really amazing. I highly recommend.

All this is considered the perfect resort for those who want to get away from the crowds and enjoy everything that Mahé has to offer. It also has a reasonable price for Seychelles.
