After enjoying the free continental breakfast and relaxing by the outdoor pool, families can head out to the nearby Black Warrior River to take a river cruise on the Bama Belle, or they can rent their own kayaks, tubes, and canoes to cruise down the river themselves. The history-loving family can learn about local Native American history at the Moundville Archaeological Site and Museum. Families with young children will want to visit the Children’s Hands-On Museum. Take a dip in a beach at Lake Lurleen State Park. After exploring the attractions around town, families can relax in their guestrooms with two double beds that can accommodate up to five guests.

If you stay at this hotel, check your room out before you pay or they'll charge you extra if they have to move you due to dog hair all over the bed and in the bathroom floor!! Will never stay there again!!
Super friendly staff and plenty of places to eat nearby ( Outback, Hooters, Arbys, Waffle House ) . Pool is kept very clean and rooms are very well maintained.
Overall stay was very enjoyable and will definitely stop by again when we come back this way !!
