A well kept business, extremely friendly staff, nice rooms

by krokko

I booked quite late by booking and there was a little mishap with the rooms but it got sorted by the extremely friendly receptionist who did everything possible to make our stay nice.the rooms were clean, the bath room too.yes the breakfast consists of muffins but i have experienced that on an expensive hotel in Portland too.after all their business is the sleep of their customers not the food.
The pool was nice too and very looked after.i would come back anytime!

I can't believe they actually charge $189 for this room. The carpet was stained everywhere. The bed was hard, the linens were dingy. There weren't many available channels on the TV. The hotel lists an available "breakfast" for guests. The "breakfast" consisted of donuts, coffee, and orange juice. Perhaps the hotel should list this as a "continental breakfast"???

On Sunday morning we were rudely awakened at 6:45am by a neighboring guest screaming, at the top of his voice, the most vulgar obscenities for about 10-12 minutes. When we couldn't take it any longer, we got dressed and went to the front office to get help. The young lady immediately greeted me with the breakfast is in the other door. I proceeded to explain what was going on around us and the front desk staff said, "we can't call everyone now to find out who it is." I asked her to come with me but she refused, stating she had to stay there.

I did not expect a luxury hotel experience; however, I did expect a better room, better breakfast, and better staff experience. Will never stay there again and recommend to others not to waste your time and especially your money.
