The value for stay by the space needle is super reasonable, I couldn’t find better place to stay with the value offered.
Moreover, Cody the front desk officer was really nice and super helpful. He assisted us with a lot of stuffs.
So I have to say that Lionel gets the MVP award from me. I believe him to be the manager, and he was great.
The first room we were put into was an connecting room with a couple/family we were not with, and they were LOUD. The walls are thin and they sounded like they were standing in the same room with us. The front desk was busy but we called down and Lionel told us it wasn't a problem, come down and get another key and we could have another room. We went to the counter and it was a bit crazy busy, but Lionel got us another key pronto and all seemed well. UNTIL we got to the next room; it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, it was a non smoking room, but I would bet it USED to be a smoking room. We opened the window, weighted our options, and decided to live with it as Lionel was really busy and we really didn't want to be "that guy". I can say that if we had our grandchildren with us we would have switched rooms.
Other than the smell the room was clean and parking was reasonable. I would just suggest that the parking fee be advertised with the rate, no one likes this kind of surprise when checking in, even if it is a reasonable rate ($19.00 per day in a gated lot).
The location cannot be beat, you are right in the center of the action, Space Needle, Chihuly Museum, MoPop, Sculpture Garden, Monorail, nice places to eat every meal. You couldn't ask for more.
