Older hotel, nice clean rooms but very small bathroom and sink area. Wish room had 2 chairs, awkward when only 1 person has a place to sit. Very quiet area, all you could hear were the harbor seals and the waves. Only issue was noisy refrigerator that we unplugged and noisy in room wall heater that was so loud we could not use it. Very small bath towels. Great breakfast.

Central Monterey Stay

The employees here stay a long time; therefore I am assuming they are happy
with their employment. Esmeralda is an extraordinary person at the front
desk.

The parking lot was full every night, which speaks to something about this
hotel.

It is centrally located on the Monterey Bay, clean and safe.
