Overview

The Blue Fish Inn is located in the heart of Cape May, New Jersey, a short walk from the beach. Complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas are available. Other perks include complimentary, continental breakfast (served in the summer); a grilling station and picnic area; an outdoor, heated swimming pool; an onsite bike rack; free parking; a coin-operated guest laundry facility; complimentary coffee (served all day); and complimentary Wi-Fi. Need recommendations or help making reservations? Ask the concierge.

Guestrooms are equipped with mini-fridges, while efficiency units have full kitchens. Families should consider the Family Style Two Room Suite, which has a private bedroom with a queen bed and another area with two double beds — sleeping up to six guests. DVD and VHS players can be requested, and pets are welcome in select rooms. All units have shower/tub combos in their bathrooms.

Open year-round, the Blue Fish Inn also offers single-night stays — a rarity in Cape May, as most hotels require two- to three-night minimum stays.

Great deal midweek off-season 2/+ nights!

by ClaritaCM

Immaculate, cute & cozy, very quiet, small hotel. Less than a mile's walk to the boardwalk/beach & center of town (restaurants, stores, etc.), so if you like to walk, it beats trying to park & paying for parking. Attentive owners/managers on premises 24/7. Efficient set-up, nice décor in our two-room suite. Only complaint: Our king bed was too soft.

Very Clean

This our first overnight trip with our dogs. We chose the Blue Fish Inn because it was pet friendly and reasonably priced. We stayed just one night. Our room was exceptionally clean, and the staff happily tried to accommodate my fragrance intolerance by using unscented detergents on the laundry. Lina at the front desk was especially helpful with information about traveling with the dogs. The motel is just a few blocks from the ocean. We would definitely stay at the Blue Fish Inn again if we travel to Cape May with our dogs.
