We have wanted to stay the Bluenose Inn for years and this year decided to splurge for our anniversary and so glad we did. The suite was spacious, clean and comfortable though the bed could be firmer. The view of Frenchman’s Bay from our balcony was breathtaking.
The staff were friendly and always asked if there was anything else they could do.
The continental breakfast was mediocre at best, suggest revamping or discontinue altogether.
Road construction continues to be a major inconvenience getting out of Bar Harbor. We were detoured less than 500feet from the hotels entrance requiring a 4 mile roundabout route. While this is out of the Inn’s control it still impacts ones stay
A friend and I stayed at the Bluenose Inn on our recent trip to Bar Harbor. The location was great, convenient to both the village and Acadia National Park. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Basic continental breakfast was available. The indoor pool was as pictured in the website. The hot tub provided relaxation after our hikes. The Stenna Nordica building needs a bit of attention, but was more than adequate for our stay. Great trip!
