It's a con!

by phantom008

I was supposed to go here with my elderly mother and had booked two rooms. Unfortunately my mother became very ill and needed an operation so we had to cancel the reservation but the hotel refused to reimburse us even though we cancelled weeks in advance and they had plenty of time to find other guests. Ended up having to pay this hotel £6000 even though we did not go there!!!! STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

Great relaxing trip

This is like an ideal village in Puglia, all contained in one resort. It is so beautiful and relaxing it is tempting to never leave. There are hotel rooms, townhouses, villas, a central piazza, restaurants, several pools, a nice spa, and and beach club. It is great for couples (especially the main hotel)and families (the villas or townhouses). The separate pools for families are great for kids. It is a short distance (walking, by bike or tram ride) to the Adriatic and their beach club. There isn’t much of a real beach, though there is a sandy area for the kids. There are stairways into the water for swimming. The water is very clear but a bit chilly. The beach club restaurant is very good - order the fresh fish caught that day. It is fabulous - served at the table. The location is very good - reasonably close to Alberobello, Ostuni, Polignano a Mare, and other places to visit in Puglia - if you can force yourself to leave the resort.
