Il Gusto dinner

Last night was our last night at Torreserena and we dined at Il Gusto. The staff was excellent: Gaetano, Vittorino, & Daniel. Each course was explained to all. Also, the chefs were great: Luca & Michele.

Great village for family with children

by nardixDC

We have been very pleasantly surprised by this village. Clean, well organized, with great, varied and plentiful food, and great animation. Great place for family with children with a dedicated club (different age levels) and night show for them. The food was always different and with many daily choices . I put on about 4 kg in just a week! The rooms are not huge but clean and comfortable. The animation is great, clearly the staff makes great efforts, and our children (4 and 5) were very impressed with the children-specific shows :-). Now, a few caveats: 1) we went on the last week of June, which is almost low season. I suppose the number of guests could increase in July and August, which could put the structure under stress; 2) the beach is just OK, nothing to write home about; 3) the restaurant is a bit noisy and the waiters do not make any effort in avoiding noise when removing dishes, which they do continuously; 4) I would not recommend for adults without children; 5) you may have problems if you do not speak Italian--we were basically the only foreigners and all activities are obviously in Italian, including animation for children.
With these caveats, which apply differently to different people, I would recommend and return to this place.
