WTF

by met858

I have a reservation this weekend and have been trying for 2 days to get in contact with someone via phone and email, all hours of the day. No one has responded and at this point I am questioning whether this place is even open and I should bother driving a couple hours out there or just calling Amex. This is my last ditch effort to try and get in touch with this establishment!

SO DISAPPOINTING!!

Zero service because literally no one other than the cleaning lady was around during our entire stay. We received a text about which unit to check into and that was it. Cafe was closed, front office was abandoned. This is like an Airbnb rental with the bare amenities. The website makes this place look so much more appealing than what it is. Not sure how to even access the pool (and definitely no poolside service), no TV, no microwave (we booked a studio with kitchenette), no curtains to keep the bright sun out in the mornings (even with all the shades drawn). It's like a wannabe Ace Hotel without the hotel part. "Direct" beach access means walking across the street and about 60 feet out onto the beach, which is fine but again the pictures and description combined are a bit deceiving..
