Wonderful Stay in Zion

by dmmorton

Loved this Lodge. We have always stayed at the Desert Pearl but thought we would give this hotel a try. Amazing location- you can walk right into park- while everyone else was having to shuttle in or find parking in the lot. We never drove once we were there. Ate dinner and had beers at the Brew Pub with the discount and bought all other food at the store ( also with the discount). We hiked all day -then walked out of the park- stopped at store to get some beers, then right into the Jacuzzi at the hotel. We brought folding camping chairs and took them, each night, down to the river with our wine and cheese. Best happy hour ever- what a view. The staff at the hotel were so wonderful. They gave us all the info we needed on where to eat, what time to get the shuttle in the morning to avoid the crowds and answered all our questions. We had a great trip.

Outstanding Property!!

Their position next to the entrance to Zion is one thing but they do everything else so well too that makes this an ideal location. Literally within easy walking distance to the National Park.

The complex has a very well stocked outdoor shop, grocery store and pub. And as a guest, you do get a discount by showing your room key.

We had a lovely room with the windows facing the mountains. Clean and even though it is older, in good condition. The cleaning ladies did an excellent job and deserved their tip. The staff was most helpful by sending a gentlemen to assist with our luggage since we were on the second floor accessible only by stairs.

BBQ grills and picnic tables were down by the river for guests.

Perfect place for our stay. We would definitely come back.
