Family Wedding

by Kthorsen

This was by far the best hotel experience I have ever had. Cable Mountain Lodge is lovely very comfortable and in the perfect location but the people are the true stars! George helped me plan and change my reservations several times before we arrived and had the patience of a Saint. By the time I got there I felt like we were lifelong friends! We had a few special requests and David the Front Desk Manager was a true lifesaver going above and beyond along with Kate at the front desk. I can’t say enough about our stay. We will visit again for the wonderful hotel but can’t wait to see our FRIENDS again at Cable Mountain Lodge.

Unbeatable Location

Almost at the entrance to Zion National Park, Cable Mountain Lodge is about as close as you can get to the action. The Virgin River flows past the edge of the property. Although rather pricy, especially since you may not need everything the resort has to offer, it is nevertheless quite a place. Rustic in style, but entirely modern, with pleasingly landscaped grounds. Situated in a natural amphitheater of towering peaks, the setting rivals any location in the park. My room was a fully equipped one bedroom apartment with large pieces of Western style furniture. The bed was quite comfortable. Oversized bath sheets were a treat. On the downside, there were cold nights during my stay and I felt a draft from the windows. Also, the manufactured hardwood floor didn’t feel entirely clean, so I kept on my socks (which got soiled enough to confirm my suspicions about the cleanliness of the surface). Overall, a very nice property, with good performance from the staff (mostly area residents). Wildlife roams the property; the deer were as tame as house pets.
