The most exciting thing about Carousel Resort Hotel & Condominiums is their world famous indoor ice-skating rink. If the kids are not into ice-skating, surely they will love the indoor and outdoor heated pools. Maybe your kids are the indoor type and would prefer to hang out in the arcade room? Either way, the Carousel seems to cover every base. They even have a third kiddie pool for the young ones. In addition to condominiums, every hotel room is equipped with a microwave, a compact refrigerator and a sink. You have the choice of an oceanfront view. There’s no need for an oven when you have a few restaurant choices downstairs. Kids get breakfast free, two each per one paying adult. The resort runs professional ice-skating shows and movies on the beach during the summer. Chincoteague Island is a short eight-mile drive away. Visiting this unique beach of wild horses is something you will not want to miss; however, there is plenty to do at the resort itself.

We were here for kids hockey tournament. Have stayed here before so knew it would be old and funky. Our room was very nice and very clean. We overlooked the ice rink which we knew would be noisy and it definitely was into the wee hours since it was a big group event. The kids really enjoyed watching the games from the balcony and the public skate on Saturday. Every staff member we met was super friendly and helpful despite the large and rambunctious group they were dealing with. Pool area was nice and clean. We were not allowed to take towels from the pool area which was odd, kids had to go upstairs dripping wet. Our room was on third floor so we took the stairs to avoid the crowded and slow elevators. Look forward to coming back next year for hockey tournament!
I am disappointed because they do not use your VA card for discount for your condos shame on them disrespect the veterans been going on for many years change . Everything else was excellent it’s a good place for kids line of activities but one thing bothers me disrespecting our veterans for not taking a discount.
