We stayed 3 nights. About 120 peso cab ride from ferry. I would recommend just using cabs rather than renting golf carts for extended days as getting a cab easy and cheap.
Rooms: good size and very comfy beds. Great views of ocean. Have to put tp in garbage with no lid is a drawback
Staff: friendly and helpful
Food: Kinha restaurant is just steps from the hotel and is the ocean front portion of property. Outstanding food. Fish tacos and the shrimp skewers were the best meals I've had in a while. Breakfasts are included. Good mix from bacon and eggs to huevos rancheros. Breakfasts just ok. Good variety of beers and decent Margaritas.
Water Park : it wasn't very busy. Had water trampoline, kayaks, SUP, pools and a small water slide. All free to use The best part was the snorkeling from the pier. So many species of fish, shells, starfish. We took a separate snorkeling tour later in our holiday to the reef and the snorkeling didn't even come close to here. Snorkeling gear available but we brought our own. The water is clear and turquoise. So much nicer than in Cancun at the moon palace where nobody swam in the ocean

Very quiet and a great place to stay.

On our first trip to Isla Mujeres we passed by the resort, saw the view from the road and just had to stop. The place is so beautiful I had a picture enlarged to a 24x36 picture on the wall in my den. We returned to visit again on our second trip here. The third trip we brought 2 close friends to show them and they too were totally impressed. So the next vacation the 4 of us booked rooms here.
The lobby and rooms are located above next to the road while it is a brief walk down a winding path to the restaurant, pool with swim up bar and dive shop (where you can use their snorkel gear for free). This area is also where they serve free breakfasts to the guests. Some people complain about the walk down to the water and restaurant but we thought it was good exercise.
Their free breakfasts offer choices of pancakes and fruit, omelettes made with ham, bacon, mushrooms, whatever you like, french toast and many other choices. Also fresh squeezed orange juice. Their breakfasts are huge and delicious, we're still raving about them.
The rooms are very quaint all with ocean views. My wife and I stayed in the lobby area in a room called "Sol". We had a pool just outside our door with a perfect ocean view. Nice room, comfortable bed, great A/C (almost too cold at times) nice shower with plenty of hot water.
We'd like to thank the staff for such great service. I know we're forgetting some names but thanks to bartenders Rafael and Joseph who kept us entertained. Rafael even stayed late to watch the Monday Night Football Packer game with me and cheered for the Packers! Also thanks to Joseph who bartends here and occasionally at a sister property bar downtown called Skulls, where we met him one evening.
Also thanks to Daniel Aguirree who we ran into everywhere on the island. And I can't think of the name of the waitress that served us breakfast every morning but she was great.
I read some of the reviews picking this place apart for one reason or another. All I can say is we enjoyed this resort and can't wait to return at the same time next year.
