A perfect base for exploring Praslin

by kjetilvalle

This was a perfect first stop on our island hopping vacation in the Seychelles.

The staff was very helpsome, even on the first night with our (unexpectedly) late checkin. The room/apartment was clean, spacious, and the aircondition worked great.

The location is very convenient, just next to the jetty in Baie Ste Anne. Literally just a few hundred meters along a footpath directly to the hotel. One drawback of the location is that there is no beach next to the hotel (although there are stairs leading down into the sea, with a nice sand seafloor where you can go swimming and snorkling if you like). The pool more than compensates for this, however, and it's pretty easy to get to beaches elsewhere on the island during the day, if you have a car.

The restaurant has a great view, and the breakfast is really good. They make a good omelette (or other kind of eggs you might wish), and the baked goods are fresh and tasty. There are also other options, like cereal, yoghurt, pancakes and such.

The restaurant also serves dinner in the evening, which you have to reserve for during the day, and which costs 25 EUR. We were not impressed by the quality of the meal, but it's nice to have the option to stay in when you don't feel like driving to a restaurant in the evening.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. It's not a super luxurious hotel, but it doesn't try to be either. You get a nice apartment to use as a base when exploring the island, with friendly staff and a good breakfast to start your day. And a nice pool to relax by when you return and need some rest.

Personalised Service Wonderful Staff

This is a property with wonderful staff and extremely personalised service. The place is well positioned with great views over the sea. Unfortunately despite our timing the weather was not on our side but we accomplished our professional mission .
The food was varied and excellent .
If you are expecting high speed internet it can be frustrating. On some occasions impossible to connect in the rooms which means a trip to reception . In this day and age , they need to have wifi everywhere , pool, dining room etc . This needs to improve . However THANK YOU for your kindness , this will be our overriding memory of our stay
