Good value

This was our first stop on our Seychelles trip for 5 nights. The hotel is conveniently close to the Jetty, although it's not recommended to walk the steep hill up with your luggage.
The rooms are clean and fine, nothing special (cote jardin), but what we expected for the price we paid. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our fridge in the room didn't work properly, we told the reception and when we got back to the room a couple hours later, it was fixed. Was very loud though, had to turn it off at night. The pool is quite nice, although at this time of year quite exposed to the wind. The ways down to the restaurant can get very long, as the whole area consists of steep hills.
A little confusing was sometimes somewhat misleading information, opening and closing times were told to us differently than what was written, we couldn't get lunch at 2 although it should have been possible until 2.30 (reception was helpful though, telling us were we could grab lunch nearby). The one afternoon we spent at the pool, cocktail hour seemed to be cancelled with no information, maybe due to shortstaffing, idk.
Breakfast was fine (although offering only salted butter and otherwise pretty much only sweet spreads seems weird, but seems to be a seychelle thing?), especially all the different jams, dinner was very good.
We enjoyed our stay here a lot and would definitely recommend.

Just OK

Nearby jetty .. walking distance like 5mins walk ..
Beautiful view from the room and pool also restaurant .. breakfast was basic but we tried the dinner set was good .. we got upgraded to apartment room which good.. but one things is lacking here is warm customer service that in every point of time the hotel staff always mention about money money and money .. ex : when I requested to get late check out because my flight is by 4 pm . So I requested to stay till 2 pm instead of 10 am ( if possible ) cz as i see room next to us been empty for few days .. the reception ( Mr.Bikesh ) straight away without checking the availability first .. mention tht for late check out they will charge 50 euros. And also the fact that we only get complimentary water for the 1st day . We pay the same everyday tho .. not less on the 2nd or 3rd days . But overall ok..
