Amazing - best place and service at Praslin

by thomasjohansen8000

Stayed five nights at Iles de Palmes. Situated at Praslin, few kilometers from the jetty with connections to Mahe and wonderful La Digue. The staff were very helpful with taxis, ferrys, recommandations, entrance to private beach... Very delicious and fresh local food. Clean rooms in the wonderful bungalows a few meter from the bay with a great view. Giant turtles ind the backyard. We highly appreciated our stay at the Resort and can recommand it for all who are looking for the perfect place to stay at Praslin. A pearl in the Seychelles in the great Indian Ocean.

Perfect place to experience Praslin!

I cannot overstate how idyllic Iles des Palmes is. My time there was an amazing escape from the daily bustle. The cabanas are spacious, clean, and right off the ocean, perfect for lounging and enjoying the weather and company.

The on-site restaurant, La Buse, features hearty creole cuisine and the staff are very helpful and gracious. La Buse was a destination night after night, with a number of really tasty dishes, from island classics like octopus curry to a really unique and delicious spare ribs recipe. The breakfasts feature fresh fruit grown on the hotel grounds, a nice treat to look forward to on a warm Seychelles morning. If you have leftovers the giant tortoises on the property are more than happy to help (banana peels, passion fruit meat etc.)

The beach at the resort is great, shorter than some of the busier beaches nearby, but a combination of sun and shade that make for a nice day working on my tan. At the same time, Iles des Palmes is in striking distance of some of the most beautiful beaches in the world: Anse Lazio, Anse Georgette (my personal favorite), and Cote d'Or.

I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Praslin stay at Iles des Palmes, and I hope I get to come back soon! Thank you for making my trip to Seychelles special
