Great ski vacation

by padmag2013

We were lucky enough to get room 4250 during our stay at The Charter at Beaver Creek. The unite was in great condition and perfectly located. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and cooking necessities. We were close to the entrance, the garage, and the spa area. There are convenient shuttles that take you anywhere you need to go. I took ski lessons at Beaver Creek which enabled me to enjoy skiing in a spectacular setting. The local restaurants had delicious food.

Good people. Decent food. Okay ambiance.

We started our evening at the bar with a delightful time with bartender (Bradley) providing a nice mix of Beaver Creek commentary and beverages served to our satisfaction. Bradley convinced to dine at the Terrace recommending the pork chops. The dining room was short on staff, however, our service did not suffer in the least. A person from their finance team served us with support and help from the team. She did well. When the wine we ordered came "skunked" it was immediately replaced with an exceptional Caymus. All professionally done. While we had to wait to 4PM to check in the front desk staff handled it well. In fact, the checkin challenge became a basis for a friendship with one of the front desk staff (DuWayne) with whom we nicely bantered throughout our stay. All in all, it is the staff that make The Charter a good place to stay. This includes the Spa/pool and bell stand teams. It is clear that the Charter is managed well.
