Old, tired, dirty Marriott

by PhillyLover

The lobby is fine and check in check in associates very helpful. There are some good restaurants within a short drive for meals. The hotel room itself was old, dated and dirty. The "renovated" bathroom looked like the work was done by a first-time homeowner with box store-grade supplies. The room was quiet though because there wasn't a lot of people staying in the hotel while I was there for 2 nights. The hotel was less expensive than the others in the area for a reason...no bargain here. I wouldn't stay there again until the room are properly renovated.

Tired & Understaffed

by Marj G

I stayed here for 3 nights. The place is tired and in need of updating. The bathrooms had been updated and even though it was old the furniture was working (I have seen other old Marriott properties where this was not the case). I ate at the restaurant in the evening and service was good and the food was very good, surprisingly so. That is what raises this from a 2 to a 3 review. I went to the lobby restaurant to get some hot water midday. A few people were hoping for service in the restaurant and there was only 1 server (it wasn't that busy). The Starbucks kisosk was closed (not sure it was open in the am) and there just weren't enough people around to get help from. The front desk guy tried to refer me to the single server who seemed to be trying to take care of everyone. All in all the service is spotty due to resources and the ones there seem to try hard to take care of guests, food good but it is understaffed and really needs to be updated. I am surprised Marriott still lends it's name to this property.
