Great place except small & old rooms

by Emre O

As a family (with our 15 year old son), we spent a week. Only problem is the small size and old decoration of rooms. For me that's OK, but only if it's reflected in the prices. I think these rooms deserve lower prices. Everything else is great. Although not in Val d'Isere center, hotel's location is good, direct access to the slopes. Staff is very friendly and helpful, which we are very much used to see in all ou Club Med experiences. Food is not extra ordinary, but still quite good, lots of selection, variety and taste. Briefly, I would very much recommend this hotel /and Val d'Isere definitely), unless you expect spacious and nicely decorated rooms.

Good week but overpriced compared to other ClubMed resorts

by simonrE1518JD

Staff as usual were superb, happy, helpful and hard-working. Not sure if it was because it was the final week of the season but the food was not as good as usual and having now gone back to ClubMed Val D'Isere after 3 years and having been to other ClubMed resorts Val D'Isere is not great value for money compared to others. The hotel feels quite dated, the rooms are small, bathrooms a little old fashioned and the corridors smell like there is an issue with the drains. Still had a great time but certainly wouldn't go back to Val D'Isere in the near future when their other resorts are less expensive with better facilities.
