Overview

One of Budapest’s best hotels, you’ll feel wrapped in luxury from the moment your family walks in the door. Standard rooms are comfortable with king or twin configurations, but instead look at the suites and residences for a family stay. Suites provide separate sitting areas, with one-bedroom suites best suited for a family with younger kids sleeping on the pullout sofa bed. Even better are the Residences, 26 apartment accommodations with a private garden area where the kids can play, fully equipped kitchens, living and dining areas and free Wi-Fi. Dine at the Rickshaw Restaurant for Asian cuisine, or enjoy themed brunches on Sundays and pastries in the hotel’s numerous restaurants and cafes.

Second time in Hungary and second time on this hotel. We can not recomend it enough. The history of the hotel, the beatyful building and knowledgable staff who speaks very good english and I know that many other languages are spoken too. Spa area and ballroom are just spectacular. Situated just above the jewish quarter means that restaurants are much more "local" and better value than downtown. Large selection from very fine dining to gastropubs and pure streetfood from gyros and pizza fast food chains, you name it, its there. Next to hotel is Bochs Bistro which is a great restaurant witg nice staff who knows their food and wine. I also recomend to take the Hotel tour with Tibor Meskal! I will be back.

Wedding anniversary great hotel!

Just spent 8-10 Th. November in the Corinthia Hotel
The hotel is beautiful and spacious and the staff were excellent.
The concierge was knowledgable and obliging

Breakfast was a treat! Large buffet type plus chefs at stations making waffles and omelettes to order in a lovely spacious area

We upgraded to include the executive lounge which proved very pleasurable, Great afternoon tea with great selection of cakes and sandwiches and all beverages included. There was a help yourself bar with premium spirits for a quick reviver
They also served some hot light snacks

Throughly recommend hotel. The manager is very good and helpful. We would definitely would return.

Tip if you buy a ticket for the tram make sure you validate it. We were asked to leave tram when inspectors (gang of three) got on as our tickets which we had just bought 5 mins earlier were not validated.
To do this you have to tap a yellow box on one of the handrails. We did not see these points as bus was full with standing passenge.
Once of the bus we were aggressively grilled for 20 mins and the had to pay fine of 800 Huf before the inspector would let us go.
A bit of a dampener on an otherwise flawless mini break not a way to treat tourists.
Nb. If you over 65 you can travel free .
