Parking Disaster

by lb36067

Room smelled horrible and would never recommend staying in this hotel. Parking is by valet only and just make sure you get everything out of your vehicle since the valet service takes it. Generally speaking, I try to avoid any downtown hotel but this one is incredibly inconvenient.

The hotel is connected to the hospital and the ER/ life flight pad are right outside.

We had booked a two queen room, but when we were arrived the only room left was a handicap accessible room with one king bed. Our child was able to sleep on a fold out chair. The room itself was fine and the fold out chair worked for a young kid, but I was disappointed that they couldn’t provide the room that we had reserved. The bathroom needs some updating.

My biggest complaint is the fact that I did not know the hotel was connected to the hospital. Every 20 to 60 minutes throughout the night, a life flight helicopter landed and took off outside of our window. In addition, each time an ambulance came the sirens would glare under our window.

If you are on vacation or a business trip and want to sleep, I would not stay in this hotel. However, if you have a family member at the hospital I think his hotel would be ideal. It was very conveniently located for someone who is going to be visiting the hospital and I would absolutely recommend it if you were in that situation.
