Great stay

by Bruce B

I stayed at the Courtyard Danbury for a four-night weekend to attend a wedding and participate in several other family events. The front desk staff was very friendly and had excellent restaurant suggesttions. They were also aware of all of the road construction in the area, and had helpful instructions on the best ways to get around. The room was in tip-top shape; I didn't have even a minor complaint during my four-night stay. The Bistro staff were very friendly and helpful as well. The two breakfasts sandwiches I had were tastier than those I have had at other Courtyard Bistros. [In my experience, Courtyard Bistro food has ranged from serviceable to pretty good. This food was at the latter end of the continuum, and the service was the fastest and friendliest at a Bistro in my recent memory.]

I rated the "value" my stay as "very good" because I was charged a special rate as a wedding attendee. The available "public" rates for the dates I stayed were substantially higher. If I had to pay those rates, I would have rated the value as "average."

Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay at the Courtyard Danbury. If the rates are competitive when I return to the area, I'd have no qualms at all returning for another stay.
