An inn for those who love the water, this inn is somewhat dated but stylishly decorated with modern furniture. Many rooms include stunning views of Crescent Lake, a quiet and pristine body of water next door to the much larger and more active Lake Winnipesaukee. The inn has its own beach a short walk down a grassy lawn, and even better provides free canoes and kayaks for guests to get out onto the water as much as they want.

The rooms include many with two queens and a view of the lake; they include microwave, fridge, and toaster, and can also be combined with king rooms to make a family suite. In addition, the inn has one family suite with a full kitchen (though no view); it includes two queens and a sleep-sofa. Wolfeboro is the quieter side of Lake Winni, offering a real small-town field far from the frenetic crowds and speedboats of Weirs Beach and Laconia. It is still, however, within easy drive of all of the Lake District’s many kid-friendly attractions of the Lake District.
