Terrible Hotel

by Matthew L

Do not stay here unless you like old dirty hotels that have bugs. The hotel doesn’t air condition the rooms when not in use which you can imagine what it’s like in the room during the summer in Alabama. The first room we attempted to check into had stains all over the sheets. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried another room but as soon as we walked in, small spiders ran for cover from the bed closest to the window. I was only fast enough to take a picture of one. Watch closely below, the owners of the hotel will deny, blame and say this review is for a different hotel just like all of the other bad reviews. But trust me, my descriptions are 100% accurate. I’ve been there and seen it for myself.

Think about this before you book, if they don’t want to spend money on air conditioning, what else don’t they want to spend money on…..maybe pest control or washing the sheets. From someone who spent 20 years in the travel industry and has traveled all over the world, I fully appreciate this hotel wasn’t a 3 or 4 star when I booked it but at the same time there is some expectation of a reasonably clean room even at a Days Inn. If you decide to stay here, make sure you are up to date on all your shots. You may need them.

A lot of noise

Since the rooms are completely open to the pool to CAN NOT sleep. Kids running paying at the pool people screaming until 12. Normal because they are on the recreation area. If you need to have a good rest do NOT stay there
