TripAdvisor Rating

Located just north of Yachats’ downtown, this family-run oceanfront hotel has a vintage vibe to it with yesteryear décor and whitewashed paneling. Outside the door lies the beautiful Oregon Coast sandy beach. All the rooms have ocean views, back doors that open to a large covered patio, free Wi-Fi, and electric fireplaces. Some rooms have kitchenettes, which are all designed to be vintage, and every room features a mini-fridge and microwave. Several room configurations feature two-bedroom suites with queen beds and a small kitchenette with a two-burner cooktop. The King and Queen Suite is a two-bedroom suite with a king bed, queen bed and small sitting area (no kitchenette). Guests have access to miles of sandy beach, picnic tables, and barbecue grills. Books, games, and puzzles are available to be checked out. In the lobby, families can find fresh fruit, donuts, and coffee and tea each morning. Not far away, there’s the Sea Lion Caves, Oregon Coast Aquarium, and lighthouses.

Very Nice With Ocean Views

by Richard B

My wife and I stayed two nights at Deane's Oceanfront Lodge and found the room clean and comfortable. The motel is well kept up for a 1940's single story motel with everything we needed including a short walk to the beach across the backyard.

We had a small problem with the first room, the sound on the TV kept cutting out, but the staff was fast in coming up with a couple options -- we decided to move to the adjacent room. The front counter person knew the area and was able to suggest a couple places for breakfast -- we picked the "Blue Whale" and had delicious smoked salmon and cheese omelets.

Thanks Deane's for a wonderful stay -- if we make it back to the coast we'll plan to stay longer with you.

Once again a Great stay

We once again had a wonderful evening here. The room is so nice, the bed was very comfortable. We had the room with 2 bedrooms as my mother was with us. As usual very dog friendly which is a big plus. Dinner at Luna Sea was very good.A very beautiful sunset. All of the staff are very welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend Dean's for anyone traveling the Oregon coast. You won't be disappointed. My only complaint is that we can't come more often.😄
