Nice stay

They took good care of us. The staff was welcoming and the cookies were good. The room was clean and quiet. The hotel decor of the lobby fit the Santa Fe area. The hotel is next door to the Blue Corn; good food, good beer.

Inadequate

My girlfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary and booked a king bed but when we go to our room, it was two full sized beds. When we went down to the front desk, the lady who initially checked us in, tells us that’s the reservation we made. We showed her the confirmation on my girlfriend’s phone and all she told us was that they had one king bed left on the 2nd floor without a balcony. There was also a party being hosted on the first floor so it would definitely be noisy up until at least 11:00 pm. We weren’t compensated for the inconvenience in any way. Elevator is also very very slow, especially for there only being 4 or 5 floors. AC/Heater was very noisy so we had to shut it off before we went to bed. Overall the hotel is pretty run down, lots of renovations needed. I’ve had better stays at La Quinta.
