Overview

The Dream Inn, located in Southern California’s beautiful city of Santa Cruz, offers guests an excellent array of amenities, along with clean and comfortable accommodations, and plenty of things to keep them busy — on and off the property.

Each of the hotel’s 165 guest rooms come complete with balconies with views, iPod docking stations, full baths with rainwater shower heads, 36-inch flat-screen TV’s, irons and ironing boards, snack baskets, refrigerators and more. Rooms include either a king or two queen beds, and some come with sitting areas and queen sofa beds.

Onsite, you’ll find board games, a heated beachfront pool with seasonal swim-up bar, room service, concierge, laundry facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi Internet and direct beach access. Guests are also welcome to dine at the onsite oceanfront restaurant, Aquarius, which serves cuisine made only with fresh, local produce and sustainable food sources. While there’s no kid’s menu, the items are generally forgiving.

Nearby, guests can check out the Seymour Marine Discovery Center, take surf lessons, rent a kayak at the wharf, hang out on the historic Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk or take a trip to the beautiful Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.

Fun and peaceful Fall Getaway

Great room, views and ocean waves...doesn't get any better! Jack O'Neil restaurant has the best breakfast, highly recommend the Huevos Rancheros.
Foggy strolls at night, then jump in the heated pool to warm up.

Love beach ocean views? You will Luke the Dream Inn

Can’t beat watching the morning sunrises from the comfort of your bed (maybe not all rooms) or the non stop recreational beach activity from your patio. I’ve come here since I was a little girl and although the Dream’s cost is unrecognizable, you can’t beat the views, lovely pool and exceptional location. Staff are friendly and relaxed. Most recently I was in the tower and only one elevator was working which meant delays, and coffee is not good, but those are minor inconveniences.
