A hip, retro boutique hotel, dustiD2 is located right on the Tournament of Roses Parade route and in the heart of Pasadena’s theater district. The hotel features 130 rooms, including 12 suites, that utilize an iPad touch system to control the room and utilize hotel services. Standard rooms begin with 230 square feet sizes through Studio Suites to the Constance Suite, which is 1,100 square feet. Children under 12 stay free with their parents, and complimentary baby cots and meals are available (for children under 4; children ages 4 to 12 receive 50 percent off of meals). All guests receive free Wi-Fi and bottled water, while all rooms are outfitted with mini fridges and coffeemakers. Onsite dining is available at Perry’s Lounge, which is open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. (1 a.m. on weekends); and Perry’s by Claud Beltran, which features alfresco dining in the courtyard and is open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. (11 p.m. on weekends). The hotel provides a unique form of transportation to areas nearby: a bright orange Tuk Tuk, which seats six and provides transportation seven day per week.
