Not Good!

by BrianS3817

Arrived 10:45 pm very tired from driving all day. Entered room 218, within 30 seconds my frightened seven year old girl saw a roach crawling across the wall. When my wife was giving her a bath she discovered the tub would not drain leaving her full of soap scum and water. She had to remove her from the tub wait ten minutes then rinse her quickly. The next morning we went down for breakfast. Out of eggs and coffee…The cranberry juice dispensed water mixed with juice. Next to the waffle maker was a crock pot full of sausage gravy. I asked the attendant where was the biscuits (as in biscuits and gravy!) she said we only have biscuits on Saturday (It was Sunday)…What? The hot water my wife tried to make tea from was cold as well. We checked out and went to McDonald’s for breakfast. I alerted the staff at the front desk of all the issues we had and she said “I’m so sorry” and that was it. I paid 108.00 for the room and got nothing back for our horrible experience. By the way the three of us slept with one eye open because of the roach we found as where there’s one there’s usually more. There are many more hotels in this area, so I would advise to stay in another if you need a hotel in the area.

Not up to par.

I have stayed at several Fairfield Inns and other Marriott properties in my lifetime, and this one just isn’t up to the standards that I have come to expect. Not filthy, but not clean. They have sofa sleepers, but no sheets for them that fit correctly. The parking lot is small and crowded with the surrounding businesses, but is close to things. TV is very small for the room, A/C runs loud, beds need updated (kind of hard and lumpy), only one very slow elevator, but staff seemed decent. Staff were not extremely welcoming, but were fairly friendly. Showed up a little after 3 and our rooms readiness was a concern. It turned out being ready, but we had to dodge a pile of house keeping carts to get to our room. But again, the hotel is not bad, but it is not great.
