Corfù cracket

Stayed for a week from 18th October. Still warm and sunny every day and made the most of the hotel gardens and beach both of which are wonderful. Very safe for swimming and nice to sit on a lounger near the beach a little way from the busy pool listening to the sea

The hotel itself one of the best you will find in my view and pretty much faultless in an understated and not flashy way. All staff very professional, polite and friendly. Lots of choice in the bar in all inclusive and a wide range of food in the main restaurant. Lots of variety during the week all good quality.

We had the chance to try the a la carte Asian fusion restaurant and were so glad we did. A really good experience

Also tried to go to the Greek taverna but it was fully booked. How about this though for customer service. When Reception could not find us a space they sent us a nice chilled bottle of wine to our room free of charge.

We had a double sea view room and it was spacious, comfortable and like the rest of the hotel kept spotless.

Just in case your wondering I’m not a Tui Employer or a secret relative of the hotel management I just believe in giving praise where it’s due and it is well deserved here. ????

Fabulous holiday.

Hello ,we were at this resort from 18th to 25th October 2019.
The food selection was the tastiest we've ever experienced. The service was excellent and we were seated in the adults only area for every meal. The choice was good with all tastes catered for.The two themed restaurants we really good , excellent menus and service.
The room was clean and functional , we had one with sliding partition doors because I'm a bit of a snorer and it led to a peaceful nights sleep.
On the subject of wasps , it's wasp season everywhere in Greece at this time of the year they are a nuisance but weren't aware of anyone being stung by them.
We enjoyed the nightly entertainment and the animation team were hard working and talented.
One or two tips alert !!!
Don't bother walking into Corfu Town , it's a long old drag and there's not a lot to see apart from the cruise ship docks. Be smart ,catch the no7 bus from opposite the entrance .1 euro 30 cents into the old town and don't worry about missing your stop , every stop is automatically announced in Greek and English. The resort is called Tui Family Life for the return stop. If you catch the number 7 going the other way out of town it is possible to get to Ipsos a beach resort 20kms away for 2 euros 40. Ipsos is all right for a couple of hours away.
Paleokastrisas is one of the gems on the west coast and is a 25 minute run on the number 9 green bus.The fare is only 2.5 euros each way. You catch it at the same bus stop about 50 metres right of the entrance. If you are worried about missing your stop on the way back just show the conductor your wristband and he will sort you.The beaches and views are to die for, the old monastery is worth a visit just for the views alone.
The pools and surrounding grass areas had plenty of space available with plenty of sunbeds. There isn't a real beach here , the sea laps up against the grass but the water is crystal clear and very shallow , perfect for kids.lovely views by the way.
On a night time there isn't really anywhere to walk to , the resort is on one of the main routes out of Corfu town.Your best bet is to sunbathe until 4pm catch the bus into the old town , have a stroll about , catch the bus back and shower then dinner.
All in all enjoyable stay , wall to wall sunshine all week and a definite return to venue.
