TripAdvisor Rating

This is a family-owned motel, right on the beach, with two heated pools and hot tubs overlooking Lake Tahoe. It offers an affordable, clean stay that’s ideal for families on a budget. Request a one- or two-bedroom lakefront suite, and you’ll not only get an awesome view, but also a kitchenette and fireplace. (Not all units offer them, so be sure to ask). Ferrari’s guests enjoy easy access to a beautiful, private, white-sand beach; free high-speed Internet access and a complimentary continental breakfast. This motel sits central to all of the summer and winter Tahoe fun on the North Shore.

Ferrari’s Closing!😢

by mlern

A corporation bought this wonderful motel on the beach, 3 years ago. We were afraid this would happen eventually and sadly, it’s now a reality. Condos will more than likely be built and they’ll be expensive.

I Don't Know What To Believe

by NealCassady001

Two days after booking a room online, I received this message:
"Unfortunately we are not able to create your reservation for a 1 King Lake Front room for the dates of 08/12-08/16 at present. We are installing a new software system and we will be happy to take this booking after 04/01. Please contact us again after 04/01 and we will be happy to assist you."

On 04/02, I received this message:
"The Ferrari's Crown will not have access to swimming pools and hot-tubs for the 2019 summer season. Depending on construction we may not have lake view and lake front rooms available. Currently, all our lake view and lake front rooms are closed and we will know more in the next 3 weeks as we are waiting on information regarding possible construction. I apologize for any inconvenience, but unfortunately our property suffered a lot of damage from this winter season snow storms and we are now working to see what we can do to remain open."

I see another review on here reports that the resort is being demolished after being sold to new ownership.

I made reservations at another resort.
