Overview

This rustic hotel maintains the charm of Santa Rosa in its early days. When the Fountaingrove area was settled in the late 1800s, a round barn, which remains a landmark on the hotel property, was erected to house vineyard horses in 1899. Minutes from the regional airport and hundreds of wineries, the Fountaingrove Inn offers 124 rooms and suites with an equestrian-themed property. Deluxe suites are the most standard rooms with two queen beds available. Junior suites with a separate living area with a couch and a second TV, while King suites separate the king bedroom from a living room with a sofa bed and a dining area. Spa suites do not provide couches in the living areas and not suited for children. All rooms feature flat-screen TVs, coffee makers and free Wi-Fi. Onsite dining is available at the hotel’s Steakhouse @ Equus restaurant, which is open from breakfast through dinner.

Great loss

This was a fabulous hotel and it's unfortunate they did not survive the fire. Like so many other great establishments in Santa Rosa, this hotel will be missed as well as the Hilton. Hopefully they will rebuild. Sonoma County Strong!

Perfect

We were originally booked down the road , arrived early and were not impressed, so decided to look around. We found Fountain Grove and are we happy we did. The front desk are very pleasant to deal with , they gave us keys to the pool area so we could relax while they got the room ready. Rooms are very nice, comfy beds & pillows , quite large.
We enjoy wine tasting in the lobby prior to going for dinner in their restaurant. The whole experience was great!
