Disappointed

by jamesimprota

We were very unhappy! How dare you think it ok to jackhammer out side the guest rooms in the morning if this was to happen warn the guests and give them the opportunity to cancel again I say WTF. It goes to show one should listen to the reviews. I dismissed them and boy did I learn to regret that decision

Are these all fake reviews?

I read reads and looked at their social media photos before booking. We wanted a weekend away in the wine country to relax in the sun by the pool. I called last night to ask if the pool area was central to all the rooms or if we’d need to drive. They said it was walkable from all rooms. We booked it. We just checked in and when I asked where the pool was they seemed annoyed at my question and said “the pool is closed for renovations” —- what? I just paid a few hundred dollars BECAUSE of the photos you continue to post of your pool every week... and there’s no pool? Asked if we could cancel due to this and they just said “no” —-

Then went to our room. Disappointing. It’s a motel 6 with a paint job and some urban outfitters decorations behind the bed. It’s trying to be cool but the attitude at the front desk, lack of transparency and dated rooms make it an overall disappointment.

Oh and the heater in our room is broken and it’s absolutely freezing. The front desk had someone come to the room and he said it’s motion sensor activated and will only stay on for 10 min. So..... in our freezing room, we have to open and close the door to the outside EVERY 10 MINUTES to have the heating work?

We are trying to figure out why we drove here given there’s no pool and the entire purpose was to have a pool day. Really wish we hadn’t wasted $200+. Given their IG page vs the reality of this place.... I can’t help but think these positive reviews are friends and family of the owners.

Disappointing.
