I usually make all the plans when we travel but my wife and her partner are here for the veterinary conference at the javitz center and she made the hotel reservations. The rooms are of course small being in NYC and I would not have chosen this hotel but I can honestly say that the staff here at this hotel is the friendliest I have ever encountered in all the times I have been to Manhattan. The breakfast here is wonderful and the gentleman that attends it is great. The front desk staff says hello and welcome back when they see you and the housekeeping department is awesome as well. This hotel could have left a lot to be desired but because of the staff I will consider it when I travel in the area. It is very clean and since it is off on 40th there is virtually no noise at all. I would definitely recommend it.

This was a nice clean hotel, however it was right across the street from the Port Authority Bus Station and down the block from a parole office. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very kind and accommodating. Happy Hour in the small Cozy Café was nice as well. The room was bigger than I expected as well for NYC.
