My wife and I visited in October for a week long stay, and had high hopes of this place based off of the reviews. We had booked the eyebrow cottage and was very disappointed in many aspects with the room. Before booking just note it is just feet from Simonton so you will have traffic noise. When we checked in the A/C was clearly not working. Their was dust caked on the walls towards the ceiling, that had obviously been missed for a quite some time. Our concerns about the room were brought up to the front desk and the staff was nice enough to move us to a different location, which we appreciated. The main pool was dirty and wasn’t very appealing, we ended up using the other pool by the guest cottages. At the end of the day for the price we were charged there are a lot nicer accommodations on the island. We will not return to this hotel unfortunately.
