Reviews

The BEST sunset.

by Cheryl B

The Garraway Hotel has come a long way since Hurricane Maria. The staff are very accommodating.
The location is perfect for business meetings. We were literally able to walk to our meetings.

After work we were happy to enjoy the fantastic sunsets.

Should Not Be Open Yet -Or Ever

by SaraLynnBurnett

We totally understand that this hotel is still pulling itself back together a year after Maria. They say on their website ‘limited services’ - which we get. So no elevator, no AC, no wifi except in the lobby. The problem is that if you’re going to sell rooms in a mashed up hotel at around $100 USD a night then amp up the things you CAN do. Elevator still broke? Ok - then help us get our bags upstairs. There was no offer - just a lousy attitude. Missing windows and ceilings? Ok maybe try to clean the room better - it was disgusting! No AC? Fine but when a guest asks for water because they’re sweltering in their steamy room and you give them attitude and gouge the price of some cold water - not ok! Water is NOT $5 a bottle. Breakfast included? Ok then maybe it should be a little more than toast and runny watermelon. Unreal experience. Stay somewhere where they actually want guests instead of viewing them as a hindrance to all the sitting around doing nothing we saw the staff doing. Oh - and having to sleep with the windows open while construction goes on at night (jack hammering etc) across the road was just the final straw. A heads up would have been great. Or maybe a complimentary bottle of water.
