It’s hard to miss the Georgian Hotel, which is awash in vibrant colors from its street vantage overlooking the Pacific Ocean. For 80 years, the Georgia has been a staple in Santa Monica and today remains a quality hotel for families hitting the beaches. The hotel’s 84 guest rooms are equipped with a queen, a king or two king beds, with ocean view rooms available at a premium and by request. Suites with living rooms are limited but also available. These two-room suites are outfitted with a king master bedroom and a living room with a full-size sleeper sofa. Two flat-screen TVs, a CD/DVD player and coffee makers are also featured. Breakfast, lunch and dinner may be enjoyed at the Veranda Restaurant, which offers indoor and outdoor seating, also overlooking the beach and Pacific. Guests will receive complimentary Wi-Fi, but note: parking is only available via valet and at a hefty daily price.

5 stars are for the location. Within short walking distance, you reach the pier, restaurants by the sea, promenade third street, metro station. Rooms were soundproof, aircondition was good. I was on the seventh floor and had a view at the pier.
...and we've been coming to The Georgian annually for many years. If you're looking for a pool scene, a fancy fitness room, lots of glitz and glamour, you should look elsewhere. If you want a more intimate experience, great food, a terrific bar, and a can't-be-beat location, this is it. All positives, no drawbacks. Splurge and get an ocean-view suite, it's worth every penny.
