I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights to begin my holiday on the west coast of America. The room was spotless and very modern. Weather was quite overcast so didnt get a chance to use the pool but the pool area looked small but very nice. But the stand out point about this hotel is its location, the hotel is about a 2 minute walk to the pier and 5 minutes from all the shops , i would highly recommend this hotel.
My visit to the Shore Hotel began with a bit of a challenge. The daily room fee was a bit of a surprise, I prefer full disclosure prior to booking, which was not the case with this trip for me. The young ladies at the reception desk did their best to accomodate us They were pleasant and professional. The hotel is very clean and the staff was amenable.
We had breakfast on site and were were waited on by Marilyn who was fantastic. She was pleasant professional and worked quickly.
Mr. Saladana is the food and beverage supervisor and his work ethic is beyond reproach. He welcomed us and treated us with regard and courtesy.
Although he worked alone, he made it a point to continually check in with us and ensure that we had what we
Needed. He was a pleasant and professional host and I am pleased to say that I will make the Shore Hotel my go to place any time I am in LA. I give the place 5 stars!!..thank you Mr. Saladana, New Yorkers are hard to please, you made our stay a great one.
