Warm welcome, comfy cosy rooms, lovely freshly cooked breakfast and attentive, friendly innkeepers. Hot drinks and cookies/snacks were always readily available and Julie made sure our every need was met.
A wonderful casual, friendly, happy zone for our 3 day getaway.Thank you to Mike & Julie. Running an Inn is not an easy job and both you and your staff are just plain great. We enjoyed meeting the walkers" on the Inn to Inn walking tour with new people arriving each day! Rooms and baths are charming & clean. The shower stalls are a wee bit narrow but hey...I wouldn't trade staying somewhere else. Having the hot water for tea and coffee all day REALLY is nice along with cookies.Lovely breakfasts from yogurt, honey and fruit to yummy entrees or eggs cooked to order. They are open and helpful with dietary needs. We were offered IF we signed up at breakfast to have dinner at the Inn the nights the walking tour guests were there. This is a bonus.
Comfy wrap around porch for sitting.Big and chairfilled parlor with a super fireplace and lots of books and information and games. For those of us who have seen many sides of many Inns the Golden Stage offers simplicity and old tyme" relaxation.Julie & Mike make the Inn flow seamlessly and truly welcome you to their home, their Inn. Had a wonderful time!
