We didn't stay there but came just for the 2 hour walking tour.
A tour that is about more than just the land and buildings. A great way to learn about the robber barons on the 1800's, the Vanderbilts, and the history of the opening of the Adirondacks. A long way from anywhere to get there, but worth the drive. And on a sunny day, a great way to appreciate the early fall colors.
Wow! This is an amazing step back in time. If you enjoy history of the rich and famous you will love this! One of the Great Camps built but lost by W.W. Durant then sold to and expanded by one of the richest 4th generation Vanderbilts. It's a two hour guided tour that is totally with it!
