When I did a late check in to this hotel, I was greeted with a smile and professionalism that is rare now days with lazy employees from coast to coast in this country. After checking in and Skip Page (I made sure to get this wonderful and helpful mans name---He is the AWESOME Night Manager). I had been traveling for work and after a long day of delayed flights... Mr. Skip was extremely knowledgeable and could answer every single one of my questions whether it was about
colorado even down to the breakfast that I was very pleased with, by the way. I have traveled in and out of Durango for years and I decided not tot stay in downtown this time and was beyond impressed because I was treated like family by this amazing US military veteran. I would highly recommend this Hilton property and make sure you get a chance to talk to Mr. Skip---he is one of kind and truly loves his job and proud of this property! I travel so much and it is breath of fresh air to check in to a hotel and be greeted with a smile and someone who truly cares!
Our family took a long weekend to the Durango area and were not disappointed in our reception at the hotel, the facilities, the staff. My 3rd year staying here and will continue to patronize this HAMPTON INN when visiting Durango. Front desk is very knowledgeable about activities, restaurants, National Parks nearby, and can hook you up with 5he best guides in Colorado! Breakfast had a very good spread...something for everyone’s tastes, pool and spa are well maintained, dogs are welcome and you will only be charged for one night at $25 per pet no matter long you stay, great location in Durango, rooms/bathrooms are VERY CLEAN— no odors of any sort!
