This hotel is a good alternative if you can’t get a room in Cooperstown, 30 minutes away. It’s located a mile from Oneonta’s historic downtown district, Hartwick College, SUNY (State University of New York) Oneonta and Neahwa Park, which has a playground and sports courts.
There are 97 guestrooms and nine suites, and all have HDTV with cable, a microwave, refrigerator and free Wi-Fi. Standard rooms have one king or two queen beds. The suites have two bedrooms, or one king bed with whirlpool tub.
As with all Hampton Inn properties, a complimentary hot buffet breakfast is offered daily, or you can take a to-go breakfast bag with you on weekdays. There aren’t many dining options nearby, but the front desk can provide information on restaurants that deliver to the hotel.
