Overview

Comfort and elegance are staples of the Hilton brand, and that’s what you’ll experience here. Choose either a standard room with two queen beds, a deluxe parlor room with a king bed, sofa bed, and eight-person conference table (designed more for the business traveler than the family), or the one-bedroom suite with one king bed in a separate bedroom and one pull-out sofa in the living area. Feel free to request a crib if you’re traveling with an infant. Amenities that the rooms have in common include mini-fridges, coffee makers, bath amenities, hairdryers, high speed Internet access, and luxurious duvet bedding.

Your room will be kept super-clean thanks to the 24-hour housekeeping, and room service is available if you’re hungry and don’t want to go out. Other hotel amenities include an in-house spa, a laundry service and valet, and a concierge in case you need help planning activities. Head to the Hilton Austin’s Skyline Spa and Health Club to enjoy an outdoor pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, and fitness room. When you’re hungry, visit the onsite cafe or American tavern; children’s menus are available.

Don't Stay On The Wrong Side Of This Hotel

by Jordan F

This hotel knows that there is a big noise problem because of a music venue next to it, yet they took money from me for it and did not tell me about it. I dealt with it the first night, but when I offered to switch rooms the second night, they said there was nothing available. Then asked for credit for one nigh and got a fan instead. Nice. It's good that there are many other hotel options in downtown Austin.

I can’t believe they let people like that in here.

On a day where I would think a few good extra vibes my way might make my day go according to plan, it was non existent. I was overhearing an experience of a friend of mine whom made some calls to the Double Tree on the east side of the highway, booked so he was recommended to their other campus, the Double Tree on 15th. They also mentioned their other campus, the Hilton on fourth when my friend called back to confirm which hotel it was, the lady on the phone from the Double Tree on the East side of the highway had him wait a generous amount of time before saying, “Hello? I am not sure who you spoke to or what rooms were available.” Wow. He kindly said, “Oh, okay thank you. Bye.” He went to 15th Street, provided the information in regards to the hotel. He described she having given him an off look and apologized, said the room was already booked and when he asked about another room, she said there were no more. So he said thank you and headed over to the Hilton on Fourth. Wow: the lady at the front desk said there were no rooms available after all, he said thank you and left. And that was that. It was fine. Except when he was exiting the doors, someone standing close by in a suit said, “I can’t believe they let those kind of people in here.” My friend said nothing and came to the car to calmly tell me about it. Wow. Not only was my friend in a sweater and pants on a rainy day, but he is also a tattoo artist, and a fine one at that if I may say so myself.. On a day like my birthday, I was not feeling very welcomed nor given a reason to come back and get a room in these places. Nonetheless, the day ended well overall. Thanks, just wanted to share the moment.
